Beni di Batasiolo Moscato d'Asti Bosc Dla Rei 2012

Beni di Batasiolo Moscato d'Asti Bosc Dla Rei 750ML 2012
Sku: 11921

Batasiolo is a winery from Piedmont that is making very tradition style wines at great values. Of course their reds are top notch world class but donít miss out on the whites. As many know I am particularry found of Italian wines so when I can find a winery that I can select both whites and reds as I can with this winery they are on the top on my list. World class, donít miss out!

The vineyards this special product is grown are located on the Beni di Boscareto estate in the village of Serralunga díAlba. Moscato is a straw-yellow wine with golden highlights, an intense nose reminiscent of the grape, and a full, lingering, sweetly soft flavor with an aromatic aftertaste. Our high altitude vineyards in the Serralunga Hillsides are perfect for producing this luscious, fruity dessert wine.

In the local dialect of old rural Piedmont the word "beni", meaning "property, assets", has always been used with a slightly different meaning, denoting not only the farming land belonging to large landowners, but also small-holdings: "andŤ' nti beni" means going out into the fields or the vineyards to work or to give instruction. Nourishment comes from the land - the asset par excellence - and the soul of the farmer, who identifies himself with his property, is inextricably tied to the land.

The "Beni di Batasiolo", the amphitheatre of vineyards surrounding Batasiolo's cellars, was the original setting for their company. Over the years other farms - other "properties" - have been added to this nucleus, and now the estate covers nearly one hundred hectares of vineyards, making it one of the largest farming concerns in the Langhe.
