Elizabeth ROSE wines reflect the contemporary side of our portfolio portraying a style of leisure
and bliss. The wines are an instant luxury, meant to be enjoyed with food or simply by themselves
Each wine variety of Elizabeth ROSE is produced from organically grown grapes in Yountville,
Napa Valley. The four Elizabeth ROSE varieties: Pinot Noir, Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot
Blanc reflect the purity and definition in flavors that are unique to a place and season.
The Elizabeth ROSE Pinot Noir comes from a 450 acre vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley named
Block House. Block House is the largest of our vineyards and is planted to several different grape
varietals. All 100% Certified Organic. The vineyard is named for pioneer George C. Yount’s block
house, the first Kentucky style block house west of the Mississippi. In the design of a block house,
the top floor juts out over the ground floor so that inhabitants can protect the structure. Block houses
were often constructed for defense in frontier areas.
