Lush and juicy, this Chardonnay exhibits lifted, bright tropical fruit aromas like sweet white peach, that opens up to a creamy, refreshing mouthfeel. Clean citrus flavors are also imminent on the front palate and the finish is balanced, with well-integrated seasoned oak.

Vintage Notes
The 2008 vintage produced wines of excellent quality. The growing season began with early rainfall and low temperatures, leading to low crop yield. Spring was followed by a typically long dry summer that allowed the grapes to fully ripen with intense flavor concentration.

Chardonnay from the California Coast - mostly Santa Barbara, which produces classic, sought after Chardonnay characteristics like tropical fruit flavors - were the backbone for this wine.
