The Shiraz grapes were harvested from vineyards in Padthaway and Wrattonbully in South Australia. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were picked from vineyards in Australia’s legendary Coonawarra region.
| Tasting notes |
| The nose shows sweet plum, cherry and strawberry notes on the nose with abundant aniseed aromas reflected on the palate. The bold, fruit driven palate is supported by cedar and vanillin oak characters. The fine silky tannins add to the wine’s complexity and long lingering, sweet flavors on the finish.

Wine Spectator 90 points (Sep 30 2009) Bright, focused and tangy, with a nice ripe feel to the currant and blueberry flavors, shaded with hints of mineral and tobacco on the refined finish. Drink now through 2015 |
| Wine maker notes |
| Vineyard parcels were fermented separately in small, upright static and roto fermenters. The wine was pressed off the skins, racked and then aged in oak barrels.
