"Medium red. Superripe aromas of red fruits and mocha. Plump and sweet but firmer than the "regular" Santenots, with a slight minty nuance giving this an overripe/underripe character. Tannins are fairly soft." And Allen Meadows says: "Ripe red and black pinot fruit aromas that also display a touch of vegetal notes that give way to round, rich and rather suave flavors that are delicious and full if lacking just a bit of precision, all wrapped in a sappy and easy to like finish. Perfectly good if not distinguished."
