The Tomasello American Merlot is made from 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a soft dry red with hints of berry and olive in the nose. Medium body with a clean finish supported by soft tannins. Excellent food wine as it is very well balanced. My favorite food with the Merlot is pasta puttanesca.
