More than any of the other Vintners Blends, this one over-delivers for its price — and we think you'll agree that that's saying something. Lately a lot of well-made Cabernet has been available on the inter-winery market, but for all the varietal's desirability and prestige, Joel thinks the Cabernet Sauvignon grape has a select range of attractive flavors. He tends towards currants and cassis in putting together this version, which is dark and rich with background notes of black cherry and green pepper.
