Grapes for this wine were grown exclusively in Australia’s Padthaway region, famous for its rich, red soils overlying hard limestone rock.

Tasting notes

The palate is full bodied and elegant with dark plum and blackberry flavors complemented by touches of eucalpytus and mint. Supple, silky tannins form the basis of this finely structured and balanced Shiraz.

Wine maker notes

The fruit was fermented to dryness on the skins without any barrel treatment before pressing into new French and American oak barriques for aging.
