Mendoza is widely considered the most important wine growing region in all of Argentina. It is home to some of the highest altitude vineyards in the world, located in the eastern foothills of the Andes. The Malbec grapes for this wine were selected from two of the regions most prominent districts; Maipu, which is located in the Northwest of Mendoza province, and Valle de Uco which lies southwest of Mendoza city.

Tasting notes
Appearance: Intense purple red color with ruby hues. Bouquet: In the glass are sweet aromas of ripe black berries and red fruit, with a touch of smokiness and vanilla flavor. Taste: On the palate the wine has a lovely velvety texture and moves into a long supple finish.

Wine maker notes
All fruit was hand harvested, with bunch selection followed by destemming. 20% wild yeast fermentation took place and 80% commercial yeast to give the wine finesse and structure. Gentle pneumatic pressing to ensure the wine retains its freshness, with natural malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 12 months in American and French oak.
